What is Wikka?
- Wikka is PHP/MySQL wiki engine based on forked code from WakkaWiki.
- If you are considering WakkaWiki, consider trying Wikka. It has many bug fixes and improvements beyond Wakka 0.1.3-dev...
Main features that are new or improved in Wikka:
- Page history easily viewed in one step. (Try the "Page History" link at the bottom of the page.)
- Improved text searching.
- Admin users.
- Pages can be deleted by admins.
- Comments can be deleted by owner or admin.
- File uploading/downloading.
- Password Management.
- GUI page editor.
- Inline images.
- Page categories.
- Comments can be toggled off on invidual pages.
- Printable view defined by CSS.
- HTML insecurities patched.
- UsingHTML HTML can be used in pages in a safe manner.
- Gzip page compression.
- New formatters.
- Tables.
