Blackberry
In my company, many users have been equiped with Blackberry devices. We currently use the 7000 series and we enjoy being able to reach our Wikka system through the integrated web browser. It uses GPRS and it is quite fast - we can use it in many different places around the world.- Actually, that's slightly optimistic as I found last year when researching in which of the countries I was going to visit GPRS was available. Yes, in most of Europe, no problem - but I was traveling across Asia and found that GPRS was only in Turkey (in the big cities) and China, but not anywhere in the countries in the Middle East and Central Asia I travelled through. And I expect the situation to be much worse in most of Africa. --JavaWoman
- My users are only travelling in 'reach' countries and it seems to work in most of the places where they are going. Big cities and airports are generally places where you can connect.
- What are 'reach' countries? --JavaWoman
We can use it to get an information or share some news about our activity. I think that could be a pretty nice solution for sales forces.
